Review
- All firework retail stores must have 2 unobstructed exits.
- All consumer fireworks should be kept out of the customer’s hands until they have been purchased unless they are in TDG (Transportation of Dangerous Goods) compliant packaging.
- If the consumer fireworks are in TDG compliant packaging, they qualify to be on a shelf for the customers to grab and go.
- Only Authorized personnel may handle the fireworks before purchase.
- All fireworks must be 0.6m from ceilings and/or sprinklers.
- Keep away from all flammable substances.
- Keep clear of heat and dampness to reduce chances of deterioration
- No smoking
- Lots of 25 kg max with fire breaks,
- Maximum 1000 kg (or 100 kg if there is a dwelling) in your store and;
- Any fireworks that are not on display for sale, need to be kept in a storage unit.
