What’s on a label?
Product labels will include important information such as:
- The height of the effects
- Distance to spectators
- Any important information about the product (place on level ground, bury half way, face this side towards audience, etc)
- Disposal information: How the product should be disposed of
- It MUST include both official languages* (English and French) – it is not an authorized firework for sale in Canada if it doesn’t include both languages!
- Some examples of Illegal fireworks include cherry bombs, snaps, silver salutes, M-80 salutes, flash crackers, throwdown torpedoes, cigarette loads, trick matches, etc.
*Please note, bilingual labels do not guarantee the firework is authorized.
